ACI understands how important governance is to your organisation. Patient safety will rightly be your priority and our experienced governance team will be able to support you to handle any governance cases relating to doctors employed by your organisation.
We will record and track all governance issues, liaise with the doctor, their responsible officer, the designated governance contact in your organisation and any other relevant parties, to ensure that cases are handled efficiently and sensitively. We understand that this can be a stressful time for your doctors and our staff are trained to deal with matters sensitively and be on hand to answer any questions they may have.
We have dedicated administration support to provide you with regular updates on how cases are progressing. Our quarterly dashboard provides a snapshot of governance within your designated body and how your level of GMC referrals compares to the national average. Our management team have a monthly meeting to case manage all open concerns ensuring they are progressing. We will represent you at the quarterly GMC ELA meeting where your responsible officer meets with the Employer Laison Advisor to discuss any relevant open cases.
Our administration team also provide guidance to enable you to offer employment or book a doctor with ongoing GMC conditions or undertakings.
When a doctor joins your organisation we complete GMC connection checks and request a transfer of information from their previous designated body to free your time to concentrate on onboarding your new employee.
