We have a loyal and experienced pool of appraisers and only ever use GMC licenced and registered doctors, the majority of whom are consultants with many years’ experience.
ACI partners with L2P, who provide a modern and streamlined online portal for your connected doctors to manage and populate their appraisals and take the administrative stress out of their annual appraisal. Many agencies and trusts use L2P as their appraisal software and so often if a doctor changes role they can simply take their appraisal portfolio and grant access to their new designated body.
Appraisals for doctors connected to the designated bodies we support
As part of providing administration support for your designated body we have a comprehensive administration offering, taking the work out of the process for you. Our experience and knowledgeable team will support your connected doctors through their appraisal. We maintain a list of all doctors that are connected to your designated body and ensure that they are completing their annual, whole of scope appraisal, in the month it is due or provide guidance on deferral if needed.
We provide support via telephone, email and text messaging to help your connected doctors navigate the process and our team will provide as much or as little support as is required by the doctor. We never charge extra for basic administration support including uploading documents to their portfolio and general support and advice. We have a range of templates available, to help evidence supporting information. We also offer in-depth one-to-one administration support and also appraisal coaching by experienced appraisers if this is required, but an additional fee may apply.

Appraisals for independent doctors
Not all doctors are connected to a designated body and so may need to complete an appraisal independently. We offer appraisals for independent doctors via L2P carried out by one of our experienced team of appraisers who are fully trained to national agreed standards. We also offer the option of our appraisers completing the GMC REV 12 submission for you to send to the GMC.
If you are connected to a designated body we do not currently support to, but want to use ACI we would be more than happy to assist you, if you have the agreement of your responsible officer.
